First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belgrade Eldar Hasanov.

They positively assessed the results of cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018 and discussed opportunities for its further promotion in the forthcoming period.

Both sides expressed an interest in continuing regular political dialogue and exchange of visits in the period ahead.

Minister Dacic expressed gratitude for the Republic of Azerbaijan's support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, especially during the vote for "Kosovo" bid for membership in INTERPOL on 21 November this year in Dubai.
