First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Mr. Alexander Chepurin.

In today's meeting, the Serbian side expressed immense gratitude to the Russian Federation for its vocal and consistent support to the positions of the Republic of Serbia against membership of the so-called "Kosovo" in Interpol.

Ambassador Chepurin congratulated on the outcome of the voting at the Interpol's General Assembly, stressing that this was a great success for Serbian diplomacy and the Ministries of Foreign and Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

Both sides concluded that the bilateral relations between the two countries were on an exceptional ascending line. During the talks, the two collocutors also discussed the preparation of important bilateral activities in the coming period.
