Dacic: “Serbia continues to expand the network of honorary consulates” |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with Mayor of Seville Juan Espadas Cejas, as part of his visit to Seville in the context of the opening of an Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Serbia.
The Serbian Foreign Minister voiced pleasure at his visit to Seville, stressing that Serbia continued to expand its network of honorary consulates. He noted that Serbia had recognized the importance of opening a consulate in Seville as a way of fostering stronger political, cultural and economic ties. Minister Dacic underlined that he had wished to come in person, since Spain was a friendly country, and among the closest ones to Serbia in Europe. Following the talks with the Mayor, Minister Dacic handed a document to Juan Manuel Contreras in an official ceremony, confirming his appointment as the Honorary Consul of Serbia in Seville with the jurisdiction in the Autonomous Region of Andalusia. |
