Ivica Dacic with Ms. Shirley BotchwayAt a ceremony held at the Serbia Mission to the UN, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Ghana, Ms. Shirley Botchway, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Agricultural Cooperation.

In a substantive talks, the two Ministers concluded that the bilateral cooperation between the two states was restored to a high level that existed at the time of comprehensive and friendly cooperation between the SFRY and Ghana.

Signing of the Memorandum was done in the room and at the table at which Presidents Josip Broz Tito, Nasser, Sukarno and Nkrumah (President of Ghana) agreed, in September 1960, on holding the First Conference of Non-Aligned Countries in Belgrade, in 1961. The Foreign Minister of Ghana said that it was a great honour for her to sit at the same table at which the Non-Aligned Movement was launched.
