First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received UK Ambassador to Belgrade Denis Keefe today.
Ambassador Keefe handed to Minister Dacic an invitation letter from UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson for participation in the upcoming Western Balkans Summit to be held in London on 9-10 July 2018, in the framework of the Berlin Process. The event will be the fifth in a series of Western Balkans Summits held since German Chancellor Angela Merkel launched the Berlin Process as an informal initiative, in August 2014. In the meeting, Minister Dacic and Ambassador Keefe exchanged views on the topics and expectations related to the forthcoming London Summit, particularly in the fields of regional cooperation, security and economic cooperation. Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic informed Ambassador Keefe of the activities that the Republic of Serbia carried out so far in the framework of the Berlin Process, as well as of its priorities at the incoming WB Summit in London. During the talk, Minister Dacic and Ambassador Keefe also exchanged views on the current and upcoming activities on the bilateral level. |
