State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Toncev has met today with Gunther Krichbaum, MP and Chairman of the EU Affairs Committee in the Bundestag.
The two collocutors discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and jointly noted that the same are good, characterized by cooperation in all areas, the dialogue on high and top levels as well as by the continued tendency of their promotion. Both sides also noted that good political relations are also followed by the successful economic cooperation as the trade exceeded EUR 4 billion in the past year with the Republic of Serbia being opened for every form of economic cooperation. About 400,000 Serbs live in Germany and a large number of them founded small and medium-sized enterprises that are successful businesses.
