Minister Dacic, Ambassador Chauhan discuss the Serbian Foreign Minister’s upcoming visit to India |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of India to the Republic of Serbia Narinder Chauhan.
The talks focused on the upcoming visit by Minister Dacic to India, to take place on 2-3 May 2018, at the invitation of India's Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj. The visit to India bears particular importance as it is realized in the year our two countries are marking the 70th anniversary since they established formal diplomatic relations. In today's meeting, it was estimated that the Serbia-India relations were characterized by traditional friendship and understanding, dating back to the Non-Aligned Movement. Both sides noted that conditions were in place to intensify the political dialogue and promote the two countries' bilateral cooperation in all areas, in particular deepening the economic cooperation in the fields of automotive, tractor, agriculture and food, IT industries, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation, film, tourism and sports. |
