Ivica Dacic and Tom AmoloFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from Ambassador Tom Amolo, Political & Diplomatic Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Trade of the Republic of Kenya.

Minister Dacic conveyed his particular gratitude for the support that Kenya had lent to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, and for the country's position regarding the unilaterally declared independence of "Kosovo".

Ambassador Amolo assessed that Serbia and Kenya were very close and that all the conditions for high- and top-level visits to take place had been met, touching on the successful cooperation existing in areas of economy, culture, education, among others.

The interlocutors agreed that the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, marked by a long and rich history and dating back to the times of Kenya's struggle for independence, were an excellent basis for the enhancement of all-round cooperation, with further mutual support in international fora.
