First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the first courtesy call from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Serbia Gustavo Trista del Todo.

The cordial talks reflected the high level of traditionally friendly bilateral relations, which received a significant encouragement during the recent visit of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic to the Republic of Cuba, for enhancement in the areas of agriculture, biotechnology and genetic engineering, tourism, culture and cooperation between the two capitals.

Cooperation in the health area was particularly highlighted, since the Agreement on cooperation in the field of medicaments and medical supplies was signed during this visit, and further joint efforts agreed in order to improve the bilateral treaty framework.

Gratitude was expressed, during the talks, to the Cuban side for the country's continued support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
