An exhibition titled Serbia and Greece – 150 Years of Struggle for a European Balkans, has opened at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle in Thessaloniki, organized by the Historical Museum of Serbia, and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Serbia's diplomatic and consular missions in Greece. The exhibition, inaugurated on 14 September, will last until 14 October.
The exhibition consists of photographs, documents, books and other historical stock, as well as of a timeline of friendship between the two peoples, which has lasted for hundreds of years now. What makes the exhibition all the more important is the fact that this year also marks the 130th anniversary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Thessaloniki, which will aspire to familiarize as many visitors as possible with the content of the exhibition, in the coming period. |
