“Impressions of Serbia”, an exhibition by painter Lamia El Sayed, was launched at the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center on 12 September, at the initiative of the Serbian Embassy in Egypt. The collection of paintings, depicting numerous Serbian historical monuments, flora and fauna as well as personages, presented a good opportunity for Egyptian audiences to get acquainted with our country.


The exhibition is a result of many years of cooperation between Ms. Sayed and the late architect Miodrag Todorovic, a member of the Serbian diaspora in Cairo at whose invitation she visited Serbia in 2014.
