Minister Dacic receives a farewell call from Libyan Ambassador Tajouri

Meeting of Minister Dacic with the Ambassador of LibyaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Libya to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Tajouri Shradi Tajouri, whose term of office in Belgrade is coming to an end.

Minister Dacic underlined that the Republic of Serbia supported the unity of Libya and national reconciliation there, adding that it, however, above all supported the people of Libya to whom he wished the stabilization of situation as soon as possible. The Minister reaffirmed the interest of Serbia for further development of cooperation in all areas where the Libyan side recognized an interest. Minister Dacic thanked Ambassador Tajouri for the successful cooperation that the Ministry had with him and the Embassy of Libya in Belgrade in the previous period.

As he expressed his gratitude to FDPM/MFA Ivica Dacic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a whole for the assistance and good cooperation during his mission, Ambassador Tajouri also expressed his belief that Serbia's attitude towards Libya and its people had secured it a place in the period of reconstruction of the country. He wished Serbia to join the EU soon and invited the FDPM/MFA to pay a visit to Tripoli.
