First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain Alfonso Dastis, following the terrorist attack in Barcelona.
"Deeply distressed and shocked by the news of the heinous terrorist attack against innocent civilians in Barcelona, I extend to you the expressions of most sincere condolences, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf. At a moment in time when the whole world is united in sorrow over the loss of lives, we must remain united also in the fight against the evil of terrorism. We must not allow those who spare no means to achieve their ends to threaten all the values which both today's civilization and the better world we aspire to rest upon. Serbia will always stand as ready as ever to defend these values, offering its maximum contribution to the common fight aimed at eradicating this scourge. May I ask you to convey my sympathies to the bereaved families, and my best wishes to the injured, for their speedy recovery", says the telegram of condolences by Minister Dacic. |
