Prague: Opening of the “Itinerarium Romanum Serbiae – Viminacium” Exhibition |

The exhibition entitled Itinerarium Romanum Serbiae – Viminacium was mounted on 31 July 2017, on the exhibition premises of Gallery 1, in Prague, as a result of cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Prague, the Belgrade Institute of Archaeology, and Prague 1 Municipal District. The exhibition, which is part of the historical heritage from the Viminacium archaeological site, displays the bronze busts of the Roman Emperors born in the territory of Serbia, and a number of geographical maps.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Czech Republic Vera Mavric and Mayor of Prague 1 Oldrich Lomecký, before the representatives of Czech institutions, Serbian diaspora and the diplomatic corps. |
