First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today in Belgrade with Minister of Culture of the Republic of Paraguay Fernando Griffith, who is on a visit to the Serbian capital to attend the XVIII Congress of the International Federation of Studies of Latin America and the Caribbean (FIEALC), organized by the John Naisbitt University's Faculty of Geo-economics in Belgrade.

In the talks, both sides expressed satisfaction with Paraguay's official taking part in this important academic event, thus encouraging further promotion of bilateral political dialogue between the two traditionally friendly countries as well as the intensification of cooperation in culture.

Minister Dacic underlined that the Republic of Serbia was committed to diversifying the existing economic relations with the Republic of Paraguay and reiterated the interest of the Serbian side for visa liberalization.
