On 26 July the exhibition of the Ethnographic Museum from Belgrade at the National Museum in New Delhi entitled Textiles and Decoration in the Culture of the Serbs in the 19th and the First Half of the 20th Century was opened by Smt. Rashmi Verma, Secretary, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Government of India. Besides Secretary Verma, Dr B.R. Mani, Director General of the National Museum, Dr Mirjana Menkovic, Director of the Ethnographic Musem, and Serbian Ambassador Vladimir Maric spoke about the exhibition.

The event was attended by Indian dignitaries, representatives of the diplomatic core, media, various educational and cultural institutions etc. The exhibition will be on until 31 August.
