First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today Polad Bülbüloğlu, Azerbaijan's candidate for Director-General of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).

Mr. Polad Bülbüloğlu presented the priorities that formed the backbone of his programme, should he be elected to head this important organization.

The meeting proved an opportunity to point to the candidate Serbia's priorities in its cooperation with this organization, as well as to our active work within UNESCO's Executive Board, that Serbia holds membership of in the 2015 – 2019 period, and to flag up our active efforts aimed against UNESCO's politicization.
