First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today President of the "EastWest" Institute and former US Ambassador in Belgrade Cameron Munter.
Ambassador Munter informed Minister Dacic of the intentions of the "EastWest" Institute to reinforce its presence in the region, open an office in Belgrade and launch a number of regional projects aimed at stability promotion. "EastWest" Institute is an independent institute with offices based in Washington D.C., New York, San Francisco, Moscow and Brussels. Minister Dacic briefed his guest on the strategic priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade's efforts aimed at strengthening regional security and cooperation, including economic reforms undertaken by the Government. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Maja Piscevic, Institute's Vice President for Global Communications. |
