Participation of Minister Dacic in the Dubrovnik ForumFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic was in Dubrovnik where he participated yesterday in the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) and today at the Dubrovnik Forum.

The SEECP meetings in Dubrovnik marked the end of the annual Croatian Chairmanship-in-Office. The next SEECP Chair is the Republic of Slovenia.

"These two days were in the hallmark of the South-East European Cooperation Process, chaired by Croatia. President Vucic and I participated, everyone in his segment, in yesterday's meetings of SEECP.

The Dubrovnik Forum has been held today traditionally with various representatives of the region participating in it. I spoke at the opening panel, where I pointed out several important issues. I especially stressed that everyone in the region should be ready to look for common interests, that presence of dialogue is very important, and that common views on the future should be sought after.

It should be kept in mind that the EU is the most popular in the Balkans, just because the way of its functioning has been re-examined everywhere.

Arriving to Dubrovnik, President Aleksandar Vucic and I demonstrated that we care about good relations with Croatia. It is important to define which issues are the thing of the past and which should be dealt with now and in the future.

It is important that a good trend in our relations, which arose with the meeting of President Vucic and President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, her attendance of the inauguration ceremony and the arrival of President Vucic to Dubrovnik, be continued and be used for the future of our relations with Croatia.

It is important that these meetings exist, that there is a dialogue going on and that only a little room is left for crisis situations", stated the Serbian Foreign Minister in Dubrovnik today.
