Acting Prime Minister and Head of Serbian diplomacy Ivica Dacic addressed a condolence letter to Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, following the three separate terrorist attacks committed on the same day in Pakistan.
"With great sorrow and disbelief, we received the news of terrorist attacks which occurred in a single day in your country, at the end of the month of Ramadan, when your people are supposed not to regret but celebrate one of its biggest holidays. Allow me to convey to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, the expressions of most sincere condolences at the loss of innocent lives. I take this opportunity to express the strongest condemnation of these and all other acts of terrorism whose sole aim is killing people, attempting to cause chaos and attacking civilization values of the modern world, and also the right of every person to live and create, free from fear. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, I convey our unreserved readiness to make our maximum contribution to stamp out this greatest evil of today, in every possible way, in cooperation with you and all those who, like us, condemn such barbaric acts", says the letter of condolences by Minister Dacic. |
