Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia in Belgrade, Mr. Mohamed Bougamra.
Minister Dacic thanked the Ambassador for his engagement over the past two years and for his contribution in improving the relations between the two countries. In the meeting they noted the traditionally good bilateral relations existing between the two countries, expressing an interest in their further promotion, especially in the economic field. They also highlighted the importance of intensifying high-level political dialogue, convocation of the next Joint Committee session as well as the further development of parliamentary cooperation. Minister Dacic was particularly grateful for the principled position of the Republic of Tunisia to not recognize the Kosovo unilateral declaration of independence and expressed the expectation that the Tunisian side would continue its support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and to our efforts aimed at a settlement of the question of Kosovo and Metohija peacefully, through dialogue. |
