Meeting Dacic - ErdoganPresident of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed today, in the talks with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, his expectation that the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic would participate at the Energy Forum, to be held in Istanbul, in July 2017. President Erdogan further confirmed that his visit to Serbia would follow.


The Turkish President made a highly positive assessment of his meeting with Aleksandar Vucic, in Beijing, expressing his desire for strengthening the relations between the two countries.

President Erdogan made no effort to suppress his fascination with the fact that Fenerbahce won the Euro League Final Four Basketball tournament. He even told Foreign Minister Dacic, following the latter's statement at the Summit, that he owed a debt of gratitude to Serbia, because head coach Obradovic, and two team players, Bogdanovic and Kalinic, are from Serbia, and that they were very proud of the trophy. Minister Dacic stated that it was a shared victory of the two countries.
