At the Summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Istanbul, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic had talks with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Medvedev.


In the very friendly talks, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction at the excellent relations existing between the two countries and their peoples, in all areas. Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic expressed his gratitude to the Russian Federation for its support to Serbia, on the international level, regarding the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.

Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev expressed desire for further development of economic cooperation between the two countries, underlining the importance of Serbia's participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, on 1-2 June 2017.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic renewed the invitation extended to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitriy Medvedev, to visit Serbia after the formation of the new Government, which Prime Minister Medvedev accepted with pleasure.
