This act reflects hatred and cowardice. I am confident that such incidents cannot hamper the good relations between members of all religious communities in Egypt. We express heartfelt solidarity with your country, and strongly support you in the fight against terrorism. Our prayers go to the victims, as we sympathize with the pain of the families of victims, Christian believers travelling to the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor. I would like to assure you that, in these difficult moments, all the people of the Republic of Serbia are with all the people of Egypt, and their Coptic Christian brothers. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my sincerest condolences and highest consideration", says the condolence letter from Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic. |
