Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Libya Oliver Potezica has sustained serious injuries in a traffic accident in Tunisia and is currently treated at a local hospital in the city of Sousse.

The Tunisian Ministry of Health is providing all possible medical assistance to Ambassador Potezica, as does the Serbian Embassy in Tunis.

Due to his serious health condition, Ambassador Potezica was visited by the Secretary General of the Ministry, Veljko Odalovic.

Ambassador Potezica was on an authorized business trip to Tunisia, which was necessary for the operation of the Tripoli Embassy.
