Serbian Government ready to foster partner relations with Telenor Group |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic visited the headquarters of Telenor Group on the second day of his official visit to Norway, where he was welcomed by the company's senior officials.
The Serbian Foreign Minister was received by the Executive Vice President for Chief Corporate Affairs Wenche Agerup, EVP and Head of Technologies and Services Ruza Sabanovic and Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Serbia Ingeborg Øfsthus. In their talks with Minister Dacic, Telenor senior officials presented the latest Telenor's development strategies, both in the sector of digitalization and in other services (banking, analytics), and other communication technologies. In today's meeting between Minister Dacic and the officials of Telenor, special attention was given to the plans for the development of Telenor in Serbia, as well as to the ethical and overall social values that the company is promoting in the Republic of Serbia. Moreover, the interlocutors discussed Telenor's contribution to job creation, promotion of the Nordic business model and participation of business corporations in sharing responsibility and care for the overall social development. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic gave credit to Telenor for its successful business operations in Serbia, and pointed to the readiness of the Government to foster partner relations with the company that continues to be the largest single investment in Serbia. e countries of the Western Balkans to the European Union is a strategic goal of equal importance to the countries of our region and to Europe as a whole. The Minister particularly underlined that the European unification project would be successfully rounded off only after the Western Balkans is fully integrated, despite all the current turbulences. |
