First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent a letter of condolence to his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault following last night's terrorist attack in Paris.
"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I extend expressions of most profound condolences to the citizens of Paris and the people of France. Serbia is shaken by the attack in the City of Light, sympathizing with the pain of the victims' families and friends. Sadly, it is clear that terrorism knows no boundaries, spreading fear through violence and targeting innocent victims. Radical extremism has again put to test our common values and our strength of character, but this has to make us stronger in our resolve to defend the achievements of our European values. Please convey to the families of the victims our heartfelt sympathies. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration", reads the condolence letter signed by the Serbian Foreign Minister. |
