Moscow: Days of Serbian Culture

Moskva 1842017"Days of Serbian Culture" opened on 18 April on the premises of the International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture, Moscow, and will close on 14 May.

At the formal opening ceremony, the guests were addressed by the President of the International Fund for Slavic Literature and Culture, Mr. Alexander Nikolayevich Krutov, and Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Moscow, H.E. Dr. Slavenko Terzic. Mr. Krutov expressed his pleasure with days dedicated to a brotherly people's culture being held on the premises of the Fund, while Ambassador Terzic, as he expressed his gratitude to the Fund and the participants in the event, underlined that this cultural event was an important bridge connecting the two peoples and contributing to their cooperation.

The event is planned to present a wide variety of cultural and business-related programmes dedicated to Serbia and its spiritual and historical close ties with Russia: numerous meetings, negotiations, roundtable discussions, conferences, screenings of films about Serbia, handicraft workshops, traditional music concerts, exhibitions featuring Serbian icons, displays of promotional and tourist materials, etc.

The formal opening was attended by representatives from the Department of Sport and Tourism of Moscow City, Chambers of Commerce of the RF, and also representatives of church and culture organizations from Russia, Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.
