A Serbian soiree took place at the Kaluga Region representation in Moscow, housed in a 19th century castle, hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Russian Federation and the Vladimir the Brave Fund.

A roundtable discussion was held in the context of the Serbian soiree, its topic being "Prospects and problems related to the development of ties between Serbia and Russia in light of Eastern Christianity". Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Moscow, Mr. Slavenko Terzic, PhD, Minister for Interior Policy and the Media of the Kaluga Region Oleg Kalugin, Lt.  General Leonid Reshetnikov, Rector of the International Slavonic Academy Sergey Baburin, President of the Vladimir the Brave Fund, Ms. Irina Yasinskaya and Mr. Stefan Genic, Director of the Fund, participated in the roundtable discussion, among others.

In his introduction, Ambassador Terzic gave an overview of the current state of the overall relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation, and pointed to opportunities for their further strengthening, especially in the economic sector.

Both Russian and Serbian performers participated in the cultural part of the programme, while the Deputy Governor of the Kaluga Region Vladimir Potemkin symbolically handed a bust of Yuri Gagarin to Ambassador Terzic. The authorities of the city of Belgrade decided that the bust would be placed in a street bearing the name of Yuri Gagarin in Novi Beograd.
