First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Mr. Jean-Louis Thill, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, accredited to the Republic of Serbia on a non-resident basis, resident in Luxembourg, who today presented his Letters of Credence to President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the continued support Luxembourg had extended so far to the European integration of the Republic of Serbia, conveying his expectation that the support would be maintained in the future as well.

In the talks, both sides estimated that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good and friendly, with room for their promotion. Furthermore, both sides expressed satisfaction with the upcoming visit by Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn to Serbia, on 28-29 March. The interlocutors agreed that there was a common interest to further deepen all forms of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economy.

Ambassador Jean-Louis Thill thanked the Minister for receiving him, and also for the readiness expressed by the Serbian side for the promotion of cooperation in all areas.
