At the invitation of family members of the former President of Egypt Gamal Abdel Nasser, Ambassador of Serbia in Cairo Dragan Bisenic visited the Nasser Museum to discuss Serbia's participation in the ceremony to mark the former Egyptian President's birth centenary next year.

Ambassador Bisenic expressed his support to the initiative of Gamal Abdel Nasser's family that Serbia should take part in these events, considering the close cooperation that the then President of Egypt had had with Belgrade at the time.

The Serbian Ambassador delivered to the son of President Nasser, Abdel Hakim Nasser, several archival documents testifying to this cooperation, which would serve as a material for the monograph being prepared by the Nasser Museum on the occasion.
