First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and National Security of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is visiting the Republic of Serbia at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Zarko Obradovic, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

Minister Dacic pointed out that the overall relations between the two countries were very good, as confirmed by this visit, which was the continuation of the cooperation between the Parliaments of Serbia and Iran.

Both sides expressed great interest for further improvement of bilateral relations through exchange of visits at all levels and strengthening of economic and all other forms of cooperation.

The Serbian Foreign Minister extended special gratitude to Iran for its support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
