First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia received today Ambassador of Macedonia in Belgrade Vera Josipovska-Tipko.

In the talks, both sides assessed the overall relations between the two countries as good and based on good-neighbourly ties, noting a considerable high- and top-level political dialogue.

The officials exchanged views on further steps to promote cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. This was particularly true with regard to infrastructure, energy, culture, but also on the common challenges faced such as the migrant crisis. In this context, it was agreed that the two Foreign Ministries would intensify contacts and consultations at the working level.
