"Serbia to Tokyo", a book of stories by Branka Takahashi, written in Japanese, was launched on the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Tokyo, on 13 January 2017. The book, consisting of four stories, is the author's first book in Japanese to be published in Japan (Michitani Publishing House).

Opening the event, Ambassador Nenad Glisic welcomed the guests, expressing his satisfaction that a book with such a title was being presented in Tokyo on the day Serbia was celebrating the New Year according to the Julian calendar. The event, attended by more than 100 guests, was also addressed by publisher T. Iijima, and author B. Takahashi, who read excerpts from the book together with K. Nishimura, an actor from "A La Place" Theatre Company.
