First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Axel Dittmann, Ambassador of Germany to Serbia. Ambassador Dittmann presented to Minister Dacic the letter addressed to him by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel, inviting him to participate in the "Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue" conference, to be held in Berlin, in March 2017.

Both sides noted, during the talks, that the relations between Serbia and Germany were good, characterized by cooperation in all areas and high-level dialogue, and constantly marking an upward trend. Particular emphasis was laid on the importance of the preservation of regional stability.

It was further underlined that activities in the framework of the Berlin Process and the conference to be held in Trieste, in July, can contribute to strengthening and promoting the cooperation in the region.
