A presentation of the investment potentials of the Republic of Serbia was made at an event organized on the premises of the Italian Interior Ministry's Club, on 25 January 2017. The presentation was held by the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Rome, Minister Counselor Tatjana Garcevic, while the moderator was Italian journalist and former spokesman for "FIAT" Giuseppe Zaccaria.

During the presentation, Charge d'Affaires Tatjana Garcevic extensively informed the participating Italian businessmen about the benefits of investing in Serbia, with special emphasis on numerous advantages compared to other countries in the region. Among other things, she highlighted the Serbian Government incentives provided to foreign investors, as well as the possibility of their access to the broadest duty-free markets, such as those of Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkey. Among the benefits of investing in the Republic of Serbia, special attention was devoted to political stability and economic growth, as well as well-trained and skilled workforce.

The event was attended by some twenty eminent Italian businessmen from different sectors, including energy, infrastructure, tourism, insurance.
