First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic singed today the Book of Condolences opened at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the Christmas market in Berlin on 19 December 2016.
"On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, I express profound condolences at the killing and plight of innocent people at the Christmas market in Berlin. It is inconceivable that getting together on the most joyous Christian holiday could turn into such a terrible tragedy, as it is unacceptable that hospitality and an opportunity for a better future be reciprocated in such a way. The tragedy and its innocent victims are yet another brutal warning that we must all remain united in the resolute and uncompromising fight against terrorism and extremism. We sympathize with the bereaved families and all German people in grieving the losses caused by this senseless crime", wrote down the Serbian Foreign Minister in the Condolence Book. |
