At the Kennedy Center Millennium stage, Bilja Krstic and the Bistrik Orchestra performed in concert co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington, D.C. and the Kennedy Center.

Live streaming of the concert was also available on the website of the Kennedy Center. It was the ensemble's final performance in the year marking their 15th anniversary and 40th anniversary of the singer Biljana Krstic's music career. The concert was exceptionally well attended, and the Voice of America is preparing a feature on the event to be aired on its news program.
