Minister Dacic meets with Nikos VoutsisFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with President of the Hellenic Parliament Nikolaos Voutsis, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.

Expressing his great satisfaction at the visit, Minister Dacic conveyed his conviction that the visit would give an additional impetus to the high-level political dialogue between the two friendly countries. Serbia's great interest in deepening the quality of its relations with Greece in all areas of mutual interest was articulated, prompted by the historical closeness and solidarity of our peoples.

In a cordial conversation, views were exchanged on current issues in the bilateral relations area. Minister Dacic extensively informed his interlocutor of the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, unsustainability of the return of displaced Serbs, the fact that Serbian medieval cultural and religious heritage was jeopardized, and of the unacceptability of the aspirations of Pristina to join UNESCO and other international organizations.

They reviewed the implications of the migration crisis for the stability and security of the European continent, underlining the need for reaching together an effective solution on the EU level.
