vasington aktivnosti_10112016Serbian Film Festival was held on 10 November 2016 at the E Street Cinema in Washington D.C. The event was organized by the "Serbian Film Festival" based in Chicago, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Office of the Republika Srpska. Two feature films were screened during the Festival ("Stinking Fairytale" by Miroslav Momcilovic and the "Train Driver's Diary" by Milos Radovic (a Serbian nominee for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film) were screened during the festival.

The Festival was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Washington, Mr Djerdj Matkovic, while actor Zarko Lausevic was a special guest. Apart from the media promotion, the Washington Embassy of the Republic of Serbia actively participated in all the stages of preparation and the successful realization of the Festival.
