Tokyo: Ambassador on a visit to Hofu city |

At the invitation of Masato Matsuura, Mayor of the city of Hofu, located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Japan Nenad Glisic was on a two-day visit to the city that would play host to the Serbian volleyball national team during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
In the talks with the Mayor, an agreement of principle was reached to continue to strengthen cooperation between the city of Hofu and Serbia in sports, culture, science and economy. During his stay in Hofu, Ambassador Glisic visited the local "Salt Arena", a sports venue to be used by our volleyball team for training practices, as well as the Solar Science Museum, planning to host an exhibition on Nikola Tesla in 2018. |
