Minister Dacic meets newly appointed Ambassador of Sweden to Serbia |

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Jan Lundin.
Minister Dacic wished the Swedish Ambassador every success in his work, expressing satisfaction with the bilateral relations between the two countries being on the upswing as well as with centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations being marked next year. The Minister expressed gratitude to Sweden for its support to Serbia's European integration process and for the substantial financial development assistance this country provided to Serbia. The Head of Serbian diplomacy also underlined that Serbia was interested in intensifying further the existing overall cooperation and extended an invitation to Swedish Foreign Minister Ms. Margot Wallström to visit Serbia. Swedish Ambassador Jan Lundin agreed that relations between the two countries were good. He thanked Serbia for its support to Sweden for election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2017-2018. Ambassador Lundin expressed particular satisfaction with having the opportunity to serve in Belgrade for the third time. |
