The 16th Serbian Film Festival in Australia was formally inaugurated by "A Stinking Fairytale", a film by Miroslav Momcilovic, at "Cinema Paris FOX Studio" in Sydney, on 21 October 2016. During the festival, from 21 October to 8 November 2016, four newest films made by Serbian cineastes will be presented: "A Stinking Fairytale" by Mirosalv Momcilovic, "Humidity" by Nikola Ljuca, Double Trouble (Braca po babinoj liniji) by Rados Bajic and "The Black Pin" (Igla ispod praga) by Ivan Marinovic.
Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Australia, H.E. Miroljub Petrovic and a special guest of the Festival, Milos Timotijevic, an actor, greeted the spectators at the first screening of the Festival in Canberra on 24 October. The official opening ceremony of the Festival in Canberra was attended by representatives of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Diplomatic Corps, the Serbian community and others. |
