The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Association of the Serbian-Bulgarian Friendship Association organized a Serbian-Bulgarian friendship night at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia on 22 October 2016. The occasion was the end of this year's poet competition in which more than a hundred poets from Serbia and Bulgaria as well as those from other European countries and around the world took part.

The event was opened by Mr. Dejan Kostic, a representative of the Embassy and by Mr. Zoran Bajic, President of the Association. In his introductory speech, Mr. Kostic emphasized that it was the first such event, with the intention to become a part of regular activities of the Embassy in the areas of culture, art and cooperation with the Association.
