Chicago: Business Forum at the Consulate

CIkago fotoAt the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in Chicago, a Business Forum was held on the topic of "Serbian companies and Serbian products in the U.S.: experiences, challenges and mutual support". The Forum was co-organized with the Serbian-American Chamber of Commerce.

Speakers addressing the Forum included Zachary Harris, Advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Zoran Golubovic from the Serbian-American Chamber of Commerce and representative of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce's Business Council for Diaspora in charge of the U.S., and Dejan Radulovic, Acting Consul General.

The Forum underlined the importance the Government of the Republic of Serbia attached to attracting investments and promoting economic ties with the U.S., expressing support to the initiatives contributing to the strengthening of economic cooperation, as well as to the placement of Serbian products and services on the U.S. market. Readiness of the Consulate General to assist interested investors and business people in the realization of their initiatives was reiterated on the occasion.

The event, envisaged as an opportunity for interaction between business people, presentations and exchange of experiences in placing Serbian products and services on the U.S. market, presented either companies operating in Chicago or having increased the scope of their respective business cooperation with Serbia or the United States (JPS Chicago - JPC Belgrade, DES doo from Subotica and Lav Imports from Chicago).
