Minister Dacic talks to the Foreign Ministers of Tunisia, San Marino and Turkmenistan

Minister Dacic meets with the MFA of TunisiaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tunisia Khemaies Jhinaoui met yesterday on the margins of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. The Ministers agreed that the two countries' good relations dated back to the times of the former Yugoslavia, but that there was room for improvement of the cooperation, both in terms of bilateral relations and at the level of international organizations. Minister Dacic thanked Tunisia for its support regarding the issues important for Serbia, and expressed the readiness of Serbia to reciprocate support.

In his talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Raşit Meredow, Minister Dacic highlighted that there were no open issues between the two states, that the relations were friendly, but that there was room for the improvement of cooperation, especially in areas of economy, education, agriculture and culture. Minister Meredow agreed that the bilateral relations were good and that they should be deepened through more intensive contacts and bilateral visits. He extended an invitation to the Serbian Foreign Minister for participation in the Sustainable Transport Conference, to be held in Turkmenistan, in November.

Minister Dacic met the Minister of Foreign and Political Affairs of San Marino Pasquale Valentini. In the meeting, the Ministers agreed that Serbia and San Marino maintained the traditionally good relations that should be fostered. Minister Velentini stressed that San Marino was interested in the development of bilateral relations in the areas of culture, tourism and economy.

Minister Dacic also talked yesterday with the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul-Gheit. The two interlocutors discussed possibilities for the advancement of cooperation.
