Minister Dacic has a number of bilateral meetings in Venezuela

dacic predsednik_bolivije_18920161First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is staying in Venezuela, where he is participating in the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Minister Dacic talked to President of Bolivia Evo Morales about the vital issue of national interest for the Republic of Serbia - adherence to the principles of international law. The Serbian Foreign Minister thanked President Morales for Bolivia's principled position regarding the respect of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of states, also expressing the willingness of the Republic of Serbia to deepen its bilateral relations with Bolivia. The President of Bolivia highlighted that Serbia enjoyed huge respect and popularity in Bolivia, and that he was a fervent supporter of the renowned Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met today in Venezuela the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne. It was mutually highlighted in the meeting that the two countries' bilateral cooperation was underdeveloped. On this occasion, the areas of cooperation of mutual interest have been established.

Minister Dacic also talked to his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Sameh Shoukry. Minister Dacic talked to Egypt's Minister about the further deepening of the bilateral cooperation in all areas, and about the advancement of cooperation at the economic and multilateral level. The two interlocutors also discussed Egypt's activities in the Security Council, Egypt being its non-permanent member. Minister Dacic took this occasion to invite his colleague to visit Serbia, which Minister Shoukry accepted, adding that he expected to visit Belgrade in the near future.

In the meeting with Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, both sides expressed their readiness to further improve bilateral cooperation, and highlighted the fact that our economic relations should correspond to the already very good relations between our states. The meeting also touched on cooperation at the international level, including the policy pursued by the Republic of South Africa in the Non-Aligned Movement, while Minister Dacic invited his colleague to visit Belgrade.

Minister Dacic also met today in Venezuela the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Eritrea, Osman Saleh Mohammed. On this occasion, the two Ministers concluded that there was huge potential and room for further development of our bilateral relations. In the meeting, special attention was accorded to the importance of the principle of adherence to international law, sovereignty of states and the principle of territorial integrity. Both sides expressed their willingness for our two countries to cooperate at the multilateral level, too.
