First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from H.E. Narinder Chauhan, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Serbia.
In the cordial talks, both sides expressed their mutual satisfaction at the traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries, along with the prospects of further development in all areas of cooperation, particularly in the economic field. The interlocutors assessed that the bilateral relations had been marked by a positive development. In addition, they expressed their expectations that visits at the high level would be exchanged soon and that, as a result of the positive business climate in Serbia, there would be a significant rise in trade and a higher flow of India's investments into the Serbian economy. Minister Dacic particularly emphasised that Serbia highly appreciated the principled position of the Republic of India concerning the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, and the support it extends to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. |
