ParizfotoThe exhibition "Kosovo and Metohija - 10 steps" formally opened on 6 September 2016 in the Serbian Cultural Centre in Paris. The exhibition was co-hosted by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and the Zvecan municipality. Director of the Office Marko Djuric, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO Darko Tanaskovic and Director of the Cultural Centre Slavica Petrovic addressed the audience with appropriate speeches.

Ambassador Tanaskovic particularly underlined in his speech that the so-called "issue of Kosovo" forcefully and artificially became the question of the international community and international organisations, including UNESCO as well, where it surely did not belong. At the invitation of the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to UNESCO, the opening was attended by Ambassadors to UNESCO from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran and Malaysia, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the PR of China, Deputy Permanent Representatives to UNESCO and OECD from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, the Holy See, Ghana, Egypt, Zambia, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, Slovakia and Spain, along with representatives of the UNESCO Secretariat and the Serbian Orthodox Church in France.
