First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Serbia, Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Jassim Mohammed Al Thani.

In the context of the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Serbia to the State of Qatar in November this year, Minister Dacic and Ambassador Al Thani discussed the current state of bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the State of Qatar and opportunities for their further promotion, particularly in economic cooperation.

During the talks, Head of Serbian diplomacy Ivica Dacic and Ambassador Al Thani exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East, with emphasis on developments in Libya, Syria, Yemen and Iraq.
